Arvest Bank Announces Oxendine Hiring

Arvest Bank is pleased to announce the hiring of Terra Oxendine.

Oxendine, who has worked in the banking industry since 2006 and as a commercial lender for the last two years, will serve in that same capacity at Arvest. More specifically, she will conduct financial needs assessments and recommend the most appropriate products and services that fulfill customers’ immediate and future financial needs.

Oxendine earned an associate degree from Crowder College. Among other civic endeavors, she has been an award-winning volunteer for United Way and is an advocate for the Children’s Center of Southwest Missouri.

A member of Christ’s Community United Methodist Church, Oxendine lives in Joplin with her husband, Grant, and their two children.

Arvest Bank Adds Tuggle to Board of Directors

Arvest Bank is pleased to announce Cathy Tuggle has joined its local board of directors in central Arkansas.

Tuggle has been the owner and principal broker at Apartment Hunters and Arkansas Suites for the past 19 years. She is currently the incoming Chairman of the Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce, and also active in the Rotary Club of Little Rock’s Club 99 Foundation and the Arkansas Apartment Association. Nationally, she is involved with Apartments Across America. 

“We couldn’t be more excited to add Cathy to our board,” said Jim Cargill, Arvest president and CEO in central Arkansas. “In addition to her business acumen, her many ties to our community and her commitment to service will be an invaluable asset for us here at Arvest. We look forward to having Cathy as part of our team.” 

Among other civic endeavors, she is a board member of Fifty for the Future in Little Rock, an organization of community leaders interested in maximizing community resources to create more economic opportunities. Tuggle is a member of the Arkansas Women’s Leadership Forum and the Institute of Real Estate Management- Arkansas. She is also involved with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and AR Kids Read. 

Tuggle and her husband, Paul, have one son.

Arvest Bank Promotes Pence in Joplin

 Arvest Bank is pleased to announce Darci Pence has been promoted to the position of associate mortgage lender in Joplin. 

Pence has more than seven years of experience in the banking industry, most recently serving as a mortgage sales assistant. In her new role, Pence will work closely with the mortgage loan manager in the generation, evaluation, approval, processing, closing and servicing of real estate loans. She will be based out of the Arvest branch located at 701 S. Main St. 

Pence, who earned a degree in mass communications from Missouri Southern State University, lives in Joplin with her husband, Shane.
